The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s GAINS Center is presenting a webinar titled “Preventing Opioid Overdose at Reentry Through Jail and Community-Based Programs.”
Formerly incarcerated individuals with opioid use disorder are at high risk for death by overdose during the first weeks after reentering the community. This webinar will focus on jail- and community-based programs that support continuity of treatment and reducing the risk of overdose for formerly incarcerated individuals during their transition back into the community.
The webinar will be held on January 14, 2020, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., ET.
